“Like fine wine, it improves with age. Like the butterfly, only during its flight can the richness of its colors be appreciated.”

If it is true that one must mold the iron while it is still hot, Raymond Cajuste has taken the time to perfect his musical craft.

For the good to be transformed into something excellent, Raymond has surrounded himself with the best musicians in the business. Very early with the group Bossa Combo, Raymond’s talent began to appear; he proved himself to be an integral part of this group through both his singing and his songwriting. In 1966, Raymond was welcomed with the group “Les Aventuriers”. In 1968, Raymond jammed with a neighborhood group Shupa Shupa. Then, his career really took off when he joined The Bossa Combo.

Beside being an excellent musician, Raymond is also a philanthropist who cares about what matters the most to all of us: education, agriculture and good health.

The needs of Haiti have increased since The Lalanne Foundation was founded in 2008. At first, educational needs were the primary focus of the Foundation, but eventually, it grew to include disaster relief and healthcare essentials. Social and political changes also left an impact, encouraging us to help Haitians in their time of need.

COVID-19 has taught us that medical support is necessary for a country’s progress. As The Lalanne Foundation continues to improve family medicine in Haiti, we invite you to help us. We are rebuilding a community, and you can be a part of its history!
